Sandbach is a picturesque Medieval market town noted in the Doomsday Book and surrounded by fascinating history. Ever since Queen Elizabeth I granted Sir John Radcliffe the right to hold Fairs and Markets in 1579, Sandbach has become known for it. Of particular historical interest are the Ancient Saxon Crosses in the market square immediately opposite Curshaws. Whether sightseeing or shopping, Curshaws at the Mill is the ideal venue for anything from a refreshing cup of coffee to a romantic evening meal.
