The Packhorse was built in the medieval times as a resting place for the packhorse trains that carried goods between the farmers and miners on Dartmoor and the trading towns closer to the coast. Today Linda, Ken, Claire and Patrick invite you to escape the hurly-burley of modern day life and the intrusion of television, loud music and fruit machines, and enjoy old world charm, real food, drink and good company.
