The ancient seat of the Earls and Duke of Lauderdale, Thirlestane Castle has exquisite 17th century ceilings. Victorian kitchens; historic toys & Country Life Exhibition, Gift Shop; Adventure Playground; Woodland Walk & Picnic Tables. Lunches & teas served in 'The Old Servants Hall'.

Good Friday, Easter Sunday & Monday -
Sundays, Wednesdays & Thursdays - 2nd May until 28th June
Also open Bank Holiday Mondays -
July & August every day except Saturdays
Sundays, Wednesdays & Thursdays - 2nd September to 30th September
Times: Open 10am
Last entry into the Castle 3pm; Grounds close at 5pm
