Ann and John welcome you to The Spinney an AA 4 star accommodation on the slopes of the Blackdown Hills. In an area of outstanding natural beauty. Convenient for Taunton, Ilminster, Chard, Exmoor, M5, A303, A358 The Spinney is an ideal base for touring much of the west country. The Blackdown Hills, Quantock Hills and Exmoor offer wonderful walking and cycling. Close to Taunton Racecourse and Somerset County Cricket Ground.

A Relaxed and friendly atmosphere offering three ensuite guest rooms, two of which are on the ground floor. Each room is spacious, light and tastefully furnished.

Excellent breakfasts are highly recommended. We offer a wide choice of individually prepared breakfasts and use local produce as much as possible. There is a large dining room overlooking the gardens with a comfortable area for reading or taking coffee . Alternatively guests can relax in the comfortable TV lounge.
