This is the Aberdeen member of the successful Edinburgh-based group of affordable modern Scottish restaurants. Situated just off the south side of Union Street, Howies is genuinely in the heart of the city. Local business folk make themselves comfortable among the ivory leather furnishings and colourful art by day, while a youthful crowd takes over in the evenings. The food's fantastic - seasonal, local and made on the premises every day. The menu changes monthly, and it's here you'll find the most traditional dishes of any Howies menu; haggis, game and duck fly off as soon as they appear. Presentation is nothing if professional and service is helpful without being in your face. All that for bargain prices. Howies don't believe in ripping you off, and we love them for it.
