Right in the heart of Broadway--- the one in the Cotswolds that is--- is the 16th century Lygon Arms coaching inn, a postcard pretty place that is now a popular hotel. Their main restaurant, the Great Hall, is a baronial dining room on a grand scale, serving modern interpretations of traditional British dishes. What's cooking? Roasted quail on black truffle risotto with braised celery and Armagnac sauce; Pressed terrine of rabbit and baby leeks with onion marmalade and pickled vegetables; Tropical fruit sushi with poppy seed chop-sticks.
