Alongside other World Heritage sites like Florence and Budapest, Bath is full of architectural masterpieces. Ha! Ha! brings to life one of the city's most important buildings – the Tramshed, built in 1903 as Bath and District Light Railway HQ. Set in a courtyard in the Bohemian quarter, the building's naturally airy character is brought up to date with quirky design features such as a stripy multi-coloured back bar wall and hanging lights over the stainless steel bar top. Seating is above all comfy - lots of brown leather sofas to curl up on with the papers and a fish finger sarnie and chips. An affordable menu has both modern and traditional (read comfort) dishes such as chargrilled steak sandwich, duck with orange sauce, and warm salads. Great sharing platters. The relaxed crowd is predominantly made up of your typical Ha! Ha! regulars - 25 to 35-year-old professionals.
