In October 2005 the Long Melford Swan Inn was taken on by new tenants, a group of locals who are updating the pub without changing its essential character ˆ „a traditional village real ale pub with something for everyone‰. It has a great atmosphere and attracts people from all walks of life and all ages (even Tudor folks from the local Kentwell re-creations, at some times of year!). Fine beer, good value pub food, and events like quizzes (Thursdays) and live music (Saturdays ˆ see website) make it a great place to drink. And an attractive and surprisingly large beer garden - some of our regulars didn‚t even know that!
