The Ben Doran is an elegant Georgian, Listed town house, centrally located. The traveller will find a unique variety of historical and exciting new attractions blending together to create a rich, vibrant atmosphere only Edinburgh can supply. Princes Street, Waverley train station and the bus station are just over a mile away. Edinburgh Castle, the new Scottish Museum, Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, The Royal Mile, The University of Edinburgh and golf courses are all within a short walking distance. The bus service is direct and frequent to all Edinburgh destinations.

The Ben Doran Town House is completely refurbished and entirely non-smoking. Centrally heated, rooms are charmingly decorated, cosy and comfortable. Renowned Edinburgh architecture and beautiful hillsides can be enjoyed from the guest house. All rooms are equipped with colour television and alarm clocks, and free tea and coffee is available at all times. We have been awarded the "Sparkling Diamond Award" from the RAC, and we pride ourselves on the highest standard of cleanliness.

Our elegant dining room seats up to 25 guests. A sumptuous and elaborate Scottish breakfast is cooked to your liking and served with the finest china and silver. A selection of delicious, freshly prepared meals are served every evening from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Box lunches are provided on request.
