Situated within the beautiful setting of Bellahouston Park and adjacent to magnificent Victorian Walled Gardens, the House for an Art Lover represents one of Glasgow’s most popular visitor attractions. Designed in 1901 by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and opened to the public in 1996, the House is a truly unique venue, ideally suited for corporate hospitality or indeed any event which would benefit from such a prestigious setting, including weddings, anniversaries and birthday parties. Visitors to the House can view the impressive suite of Mackintosh rooms and enjoy an audio-visual presentation exploring the genius of the architect. The contemporary Art Lovers’ Café has an innovate menu prepared by a team of experienced chefs. The surrounding art exhibitions ensure visitors experience the very best combination of culture and cuisine.

Visitors are also entertained throughout the year with an exciting programme of music recitals, dinner concerts and event.
