This former 18th century coaching house is situated in the heart of the historic town of Winchelsea, on the edge of the Sussex Downs.

Dating from 1778, the inn still retains many of its wonderful original features, with blackened oak beams and an open log fire.

All of the rooms are en suite and have tea and coffee making facilities.

The restaurant uses good, local produce and there is a specials board that changes daily. In the summer months, guests can enjoy the walled garden. Parking is available, free of charge.
