In the centre of one of the most attractive villages in England, The Griffin Inn is nearly 200 years old. Chris and Liz Overend moved here in August 2007 having achieved numerous awards at their previous pub including listings in the Good Pub Guide. Open every day 11-3pm and 6-11pm (Sunday 12-3pm, 6-11pm) serving food every lunchtime and evening, the menu is towards the traditional but with twists. From traditional steaks and pies to old fashioned stews and puds and all home made. Sunday lunch is well renowned with a range of roasts or a sample of each all served with Yorkshire puds and roast potatoes, bookings are advisable.

The Griffin offers bed and breakfast all year round and serves a range of fine real ales, regularly changing, fine wines and comfortable surroundings with real open fires. Probably, Lincolnshires best kept secret. www.thegriffinirnham.co.uk
