The park being situated on the main A711 Dumfries to Dalbeattie
road, which is now part of the Galloway Tourist Route (GTR) to Aye,making it
an ideal place for a stopover or indeed use as a base from which you can
explore the many tourist delights and attractions of Dumfries and Galloway.
The park is in a quiet and peaceful rural setting offering panoramic views
of the hills,a short drive will take you to some excellent woodland and
coastal walks, world class mountain bike trail (part of the 7 Stanes
group) and many more tourist attractions.
