The Shurland Hotel, formally known as The Crooked Billet until the 1980's, stands proudly in the middle of Eastchurch village, Isle of Sheppey. The original building (prior to the new extension built in 1992 by Paddy Brown), dates back to approx 1821. Please visit again soon for more historical information.... We are also the closest hotel to the Sheppey Prison Cluster - Elmley, Standford Hill and Swaleside. All three being within a five minute drive from The Shurland. We offer corporate rates for Companies and HMPS staff.
