Smugglers reputedly used the tunnel believed to connect the cellars of this 13th-century pub to the dungeons of Restormel Castle, a short way up the River Fowey. The Royal Oak is situated in the old capital of Cornwall, Lostwithiel, set in stunning surroundings in the heart of a beautiful Valley. Open all year round, the restaurant offers a wide range of traditional meals prepared and cooked freshly using only the finest local Cornish Produce.

There is a comfortable lounge bar, together with the main bar which has a character flagstone floor. Both bars have a fireplace to keep you warm and cosy on those cold winter nights.

A large variety of real & guest ales, beers & spirits are available, offering a warm & friendly environment for a relaxing drink.

EDEN PROJECT is only 7.7 mile away, offering a spectacular day out for all age groups.
