'The Shoes' s a Victorian Inn tucked away in a tranquil part of West Dorset. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking and is filled with ample places of interest, ranging from iron age forts and roman roads to stunning formal gardens and museums.

The inn boasts a great reputation of excellent cuisine. Fresh local produce is used wherever possible and so the menu often varies, even the herbs are picked daily from the on-site herb garden. Light lunches are available daily with an a la carte menu for the evening. Combine this with an expansive fine wine list and you have an enjoyable evening awaiting you.

There are three spacious double en-suite guest rooms. Two of the rooms have superb views looking out over the valley, with the third ideal to make into a family room.
