Pretty, 16th century unspoilt thatched pub, in the heart of West Dorset.

Award winning Pub for our imaginative food, using fresh local produce individually cooked to order, well known for fresh fish and seasonal game.

Cosy and intimate with flagstone floors, beams, inglenook fireplaces and polished copper, all giving a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

Four comfortable en-suite bedrooms are tastefully furnished and decorated, with crisp white linen. Breakfast is served in the flower-filled conservatory in the summer, or in our characterful country kitchen/dining room in the winter months.

The food, the service and the atmosphere will guarantee you a memorable occasion. Very well kept Real Ales, extensive Wine List, homemade Elderflower Cordial, Damson Vodka. 'No chips or microwaves' has ensured numerous previous food awards.
