An attractive 18th century ivy-clad inn located in the tranquil village of Danby at the heart of the North York Moors.

Owned since 1999 by Grant Douglas, the timber-beamed bars and open fire create a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to enjoy our home made meals, real ales, and interesting wines and malt whiskies.

Each of the nine centrally heated en-suite rooms has been individually decorated and several possess fine views of Danby Dale and the surrounding moorland.

The Duke of Wellington is an ideal base for exploring the North York Moors, Whitby and the coast.
