Set amid 30 acres of field and woodland, Butcombe Farm is a grade II listed house, dating from the fourteenth century and commanding a splendid view across the valley to the Mendip Hills. A sympathetic restoration of the house and surrounding farm buildings, which commenced in 1986, has led to the creation of a holiday setting combining modern and convenient facilities with the peace and tranquillity of a rural environment with stunning views.

The innovative refurbishment of the eight 17th century, stone-built, self catering cottages includes central heating, fitted carpets, telephones, colour television and video. The kitchens are fully equipped to include fan ovens and electric hob, microwave oven and refrigerator. Some have dishwashers. Bed linen and towels are provided and there is no charge for electricity for our holiday guests. Airport accommodation with parking is also available and excellent bed & breakfast rooms.
