“Something for everyone ... of ages ...” is the motto of Sidmouth Museum through its interpretation of local history and the Jurassic Coast. Collections include Regency & Victoriana, prints, old photographs, costumes, lace and famous residents. The “land and man” room depicts 240million years of history.
There is a special area for Young People, who also have their own special activity days through the season.
The small shop provides a wide range of interesting and unusual items.
Free guided strolls take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 11.00am exploring the architectural gems & background to the open spaces of the town. On Wednesday afternoons at 2.00pm, join a knowledgeable guide along the Esplanade explaining the Jurassic Coast formation. All strolls leave from the Museum.

31st March - 3rd November
Monday: 1.00pm – 4.00pm.
Tuesday – Saturday: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Sunday: Closed
