More Information

Cathedral View was built during 1795 and is a Georgian Grade II listed building and we are located opposite the Close wall. We have a magnificent view of Salisbury Cathedral. Cathedral View is less than a minutes walk from St Ann's Gate, it is from here that you enter the beautiful landscaped Close and the Cathedral, with the tallest Medieval Spire in Europe.

We try to make your stay in our home enjoyable and relaxing. All of the bedrooms are of a very high standard. All rooms are en suite. Every room has colour television, tea and coffee making facilities. We have off road parking available. At breakfast we always have fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals as well as the full English breakfast. We cater for all tastes.

Within the Close walls visitors to Salisbury find the 13th century Cathedral, museums and historic houses. The sights and splendid shops of Salisbury are all within easy walking distance of our front door. The city has dozens of restaurants and pubs to choose from. A wide range of cultural events with frequent concerts, exhibitions, excellent theatres, arts centre and cinema. Salisbury is located very near many places of interest, Stonehenge, Avebury, Wilton House, Bath, Portsmouth, Wells and Winchester; it is an easy trip down to the South Coast as well.
