Pooles Cavern is a spectacular natural cave on the edge of the beautiful Peak District spa town of Buxton. The 45 minute cave tour is a journey back through time passing chambers littered with Stone Age and Roman remains, incredible crystal formations, stalactites and stalagmites, underground streams and mysterious legends. Above ground is a visitor centre, cave exhibition, picnic areas and shop. Set in beautiful woodlands with trails to a hill top viewing point.
