Denby Pottery is in rural Derbyshire on the B6179, two miles south of Ripley and eight miles north of Derby off the A38. Pottery tours include 'have a go' at painting a plate and making a frog. See website for winter season availability of guided tours.

Attractive centre set around a cobbled courtyard including Museum, New Denby Home Store, Denby Factory Shop, Dartington Crystal Shop, Gift Shop, Cookery Emporium (featuring free half hour cookery demonstrations), Garden Emporium and Restaurant. Open daily 9.30 - 5pm Mondays to Saturdays, 10am to 5pm Sundays. Disabled facilities. Free parking and entry (charge for pottery tours). Outdoor play ground, picnic area. Groups and coaches welcome.
