Askrigg Cottages has traditional restored farmhouses, cottages and a former
chapel in Wensleydale - in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales
National Park.
Whether you want to stay in a village, or a quiet location there is a
property to suit everyone, sleeping from 2 to 6 people, and several taking
pets.
This is an area of outstanding natural beauty in which to relax, unwind
and recharge your batteries, what ever the weather. There are high fell
walks with spectacular views and tranquility, riverside meadows full of
wild flowers, waterfalls in abundance, or villages with pubs to quence your
thrist and local produce to taste,.and shops for browsing. Hawes has
antique shops, a rope works and creamery making Wallace & Gromit cheese.
Askrigg is home of the locations for TV series 'All Creatures Great &
Small' The area is steeped in history..Bainbridge has a Roman Road for
walkers and cycylists. There are three castles within half an hour of each
property.
