Step back in time. Explore historic buildings and living landscapes to discover how your ancestors lived. The easily accessed historic buildings on the 4 acre site show different aspects of rural life, from the Iron Age roundhouse and settlement to the Sixteenth Century manor house with its huge wooden cruck frames. Outside there are medieval garths, cottage gardens, a farming area with animals and a cornfield with over 40 species of cornfield flowers. There's plenty of space to explore and lots to see, quiet corners for picnics and the dog can come too - on a lead please. To find out about the fantastic events that run throughout the year please visit the museum website
