The Grasmere Hotel is a delightful Victorian Country House Hotel and Restaurant in Grasmere Village. Our multi award-winning restaurant overlooks the gardens, fells and the River Rothay and features a unique Scandinavian style cedar ceiling. The food is plentiful, imaginative, of excellent quality and attractively presented. The standard of cuisine and service reflect the many awards the Grasmere team have received over the years for hospitality, service and food quality.

The elegant lounge bar offers peace and relaxation and on cold days is warmed by a log fire. The bar is well stocked with over 40 malt whiskies, a wide range of spirits, liqueurs, soft drinks and a carefully selected wine list.

The Hotel offers standards synonymous with larger hotels, providing modern levels of comfort and convenience. The character and warm friendly atmosphere has, however been retained and encourages many guests to return again and again.
