Our historic barn has been sympathetically converted by our family, retaining the original character whilst using modern technology – we have an air-source heat pump, underfloor heating and internet plug-in connections in all bedrooms.
There is an abundance of natural wood, with re-used original elm boards throughout and a dramatic oak floor and woodburner in the main reception room. Seven king posts are displayed along the barn’s roof. Downstairs, the high-ceilinged Cider Barn has a Mediterrranean feel with ceramic tiled floors, huge exposed elm ceiling joists, and French doors opening to the Courtyard garden.
