We offer delicious home cooking and our guests are welcome to bring their own wine. Guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner in our library / dining room and relax or watch television in our comfortable sitting room. The house is full of character with interesting decor, many pictures, books, log fires and a lovely garden.
BEVERLEY is a centre from which many good places can be visited. In HULL you will find an excellent museum quarter which includes:- Ferens Art Gallery, the Town Dock Museum, the Streetlife Museum, the Hull and East Riding Museum, Wilberforce House, the Arctic Corsair, the Hull Maritime Museum, Maister House, Trinity House and The Deep, an icon of Hull, which is one of the largest aquariums in the world.
In the surrounding area can be found The Humber Bridge, Burton Agnes Hall, Burton Constable Hall, Burnby Hall Gardens, Skidby Windmill, Sewerby Hall, Bridlington Harbour, Sledmere House, Bempton Cliffs (RSPB), Hornsea Mere, Hornsea Museum of Village Life, Castle Howard, York, Lincoln, Howden and the North Yorkshire Moors. It is a good centre for exploring The Wolds (so loved by David Hockney) either by walking The Wolds Way or by cycling through them on the Big Sky Bike Ride (circular day rides on quiet roads and country lanes).
