The Goathland Hotel is run by Keith and Jean Richardson and their staff, who produce both good food and drink in a friendly atmosphere to which guests constantly return. The hotel is well known locally and internationally as the ' AIDENSFIELD ARMS ' in Yorkshire Televisions very popular ' HEARTBEAT ' series.

We have become world famous by sheer accident but for the very reasons Yorkshire Television chose us we like to think that the very best of an English village pub has been delivered to an international audience. Our belief is that many come because of the fictional Aidensfield but return for the spirit that is Goathland.

We welcome walkers, cyclists, bikers, coach parties and dogs accompanied by owners on a short leash!

Essentially we offer the convenience of a small hotel but with a big personality.
