Finshade wood is a great day out for families young and old alike, offering beautiful walks and cycle paths along with a stunning range of wildlife. There is also a visitors centre; complete with a cafe, cycle hire, an adventure playground and on-site camping. Dotted around the woods there are plenty of ideal picnic spots for the perfect summer picnic. Fineshade wood is situated between Corby and Stamford and is signposted from the A43. Admission is free and parking for the day only costs £3, making fineshade wood a low-cost yet fun way of spending a day.
