Ragged Jack, Devil's Cheesewring and Castle Rock are a selection of strange rock formations which form the Valley of the Rocks after which our hotel in Lynton is named. The valley is a pleasant walk from the hotel in Lynton which are perched high on the cliff top above the fishing village of Lynmouth. The hotel is situated on the main street, commanding panoramic views of the bay from its sloping gardens. Named ‘Little Switzerland of England’ by the Victorians, the lovely cliff top village of Lynton is Devon at its very best! Abundant in Victorian architecture, art and craft shops and quaint tearooms, it boasts magnificent views of the dramatic coastline.
