Drem Farmhouse is a large Georgian house set in the picturesque conservation village of Drem, located in the heart of East Lothian, surrounded by golf courses, beaches and within easy reach of Edinburgh. It is the family home of Hugh and Marlene Smith who welcome their guests for Bed and Breakfast (evening meals available with advance notice). The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated through out with a dinning room , drawing room and a large sun room all over looking the extensive gardens. Adjoining the main house is 'The Bothie' providing self catering accommodation, for up to four people, on weekly basis. The Bothie has its own sheltered courtyard with outdoor furniture and barbeque. From the courtyard there's access to the upper part of the garden where amongst the shrubs and trees you can discover the ancient ivy-covered remains of a medieval Knights Templar chapel.
