The Waun Wyllt Inn was built in the Eighteenth Century and is set in 2 acres of Carmarthenshire countryside. “Waun Wyllt” means the “Wild Moor” or “Wild Meadow”, which is derived from its location nestled in the Sylen hills to the north of Llanelli. In the years past, one can imagine the how weary travellers and locals would have sought food, drink and shelter in the homely surroundings of the Waun Wyllt. Come rain or shine, traveller, local or walker, the Waun Wyllt remains a destination pub of charm and character where a warm welcome comes for free. We are a destination pub, famous for real ales and fine food.
