Restored 17th and 18th century formal gardens set within a 10 acre walled area, offering an oasis of tranquility. They comprise rare and interesting period plants with historic and vegetables and herbs. There is also a wide variety of fruit trees.
Classical patterned parterres can be seen at the end of the Holly Walk, together with the restored Summer House and Green House. The 19th century holly Maze tests the skills of all ages!
