Created by famous plantsman, expert botanist and author, E A Bowles. The gardens offer visitors something different throughout the year, in addition to the National Collection of award-winning Bearded Iris, the gardens also boast thousands of naturalised bulbs, a rock garden, a beautiful carp lake and the lunatic asylum (home to unusual plants!)
