After trawling unsuccessfully through website after website for any available/afffordable accommodation in Northumberland we came across Birdsong Cottage - what a find.We stayed here for 3 nights. The characterful hostess Amanda and her hubby Gary were very friendly and helped any way with requests.
The double room was very relaxing with comfortable bed,flat screen tv, drinks, toiletries etc.
The bathroom was superb, with jacuzzi bath, salts, candles and relaxing lighting, finished in an Oriental theme.
The stay was worth every penny, and almost too good value for money.
Book while still cheap!!
