We arrived hoping for a smart hotel unfortunatly as soon as we arrived in the car park things did not look too good, the car park was convienient but the foot high weeds growing out of the stone chippings was unfortunatly a taste of things to come. We were checked in by a very pleasant young woman but we noticed that the ceiling had come down in the public room apparently from a burst pipe and was still awaiting repair. We were shown to our room but we were dissapointed at the dowdy decor and very dirty carpets, the room did have clean sheets and on the surface looked clean enough but the whole place had an air of neglect and was in need of a complete refurbishment. We decided not to stay and booked a room at a premier lodge eventhough it meant paying twice for one nights stay.
