Last year was said to have had 3500 - 4000 visitors - a great success and possibly more were expected this year BUT I do not think that happened at all - the numbers were down this year I think. Possibly the Wimbledon tennis final did not help but for local clubs/associations etc who supported the Festival it was disappointing to see many commercial catering vans etc on site charging high prices which meant that local societes/groups etc struggled to sell their quota of goods which resulted in a drop of takings with the knock on effect of disappointing local clubs future plans etc despite their hard work.
I also think the crowd for the Hallabaloo band was small and disappointing.
