After having difficulty getting a prescription for the antibiotic Vancomycin at the local chemist, I returned to St John's to see if it was still ok for my husband to take another antibiotic he'd been prescribed. An extremely helpful young receptionist called Katy took the necessary details in a message to be left for doctor Sanga. But she did not stop there! Having checked on the computer for my husbands details, she was evidently clear that this medication was needed asap! She then rang around a number of local chemist (whilst I did likewise on my mobile)as well as providing me with various numbers & useful suggestions like ringing the NHS helpline. Thanks to Katy, I was able to obtain the Vancomycin later that same day, at Barry Bladens in Hale, which was Katy's suggestion. (Thank you pharmacist Matthew for ringing be back & getting this so quickly). Katy is a polite, helpful, enthusiastic and conscientious young lady who deserves to be appreciated (& promoted)? St John's has now gone up in my estimation immeasurably! Elaine Craig ;->
