First class hotel. Rooms exceptionally clean. Sufficient parking. Excellent eating facilities. Will definitely stay again.

Good Points: Considering the price, accommodation was very good. Food in the restaurant was excellent
Bad Points: Bed could do with a summer weight quilt.
General Review: Good value accommodation in an excellent location

Good Points: The room, which we were given, was light and airy with a wonderful view of the river. It was clean, in good repair (it was newly built last year!) and the bed and furniture was very comfortable.
Bad Points: The en-suite toilet and shower was clean and tidy but was very much lacking in space.
General Review: Overall we very much enjoyed our stay here. The Boathouse is a pleasant, modern Bar/Restaurant/hotel, set in a superb location on the River Stour, a short walk from the centre of the beautiful town of Sudbury. My only complaint is that the Sea-Bass, Which I ordered from the restaurant, needed to be returned to the kitchen for another minute or two under the grill, which the staff did and when it came back it was on a fresh plate with fresh vegetables. It certainly didn't spoil our weekend and we'll be staying there again.

Good Points: The situation was delightful and the food was good.
Bad Points: Poor facilities in the bathroom (shower could not be used as it overflowed)
General Review: A pleasant well situated restaurant with rooms. I could have done with a slightly bigger room and a lounge but overall for one person it was fine.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The family who run it are very attentive. Food and rooms first class.
