This was my thrid year doing the London to Southend and it gets better every time. Victoria Park could do with some signposting to the start line, however, can't say I have any complaints as I've always had a great day out. The finish is probably one of the best as you cross the line into what feels like a festival, with entertainment, food, beer and a flop on the grass! plenty of space for your frinds and family to cheer you through and a friendly atmosphere with complete strangers congratulating you on your efforts. I will do it again next year without a doubt. My favourite.
