Good Points: Receptionist on Check out very friendly and helpful Bad Points: Receptionist on checking in did not smile greet you or attempt conversation. Gave the impression that you were a nusiance especially when we mentioned that there was no space in the car park. Not very helpful at all. General review: Hotel looks very tired. Needs a complete refurbishment. There is no control over the parking facilities I saw people park who then went off shopping. Was not asked for Registration number at all so how can you keep a car park that is not locked soley for hotel customers.

I was intending to spend several weeks in this hotel on a business trip, but was quick to check out after only one night, in which my primerary target was to come in as little close contact with any of the furniture and walls as possible. The whole room exhuded a feeling of countless, sweaty previous tenants, unhelped by the traces of mould competing to be the first to reach the bathroom ceiling. I have been told some rooms are better than others, but surely it cannot be worth the risk. I am now staying in the Travelodge, which at the same price is at least clean if impersonal.
