One of the best pubs I have visited in Essex in a nice location of historic Halstead.
The welcome is warm and the landlords are friendly making me feel at home and relaxed. They offered a good range of beers and wines. Although I didn't eat there, I looked into the restaurant which was very pleasant with plenty of customers, the menu looked appetising.
Will definately be back and will make sure I have a meal also. It came highly recommended to me and I am pleased I took the opportunity to visit.
