We stayed for 3 nights whilst combining business with pleasure. The room was pleasant and nicely furnished (although we did have to request a 2nd chair). The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely excellent - even the bar meal we had one night was well out of the ordinary. This was backed up with an interesting and eclectic wine list at reasonable prices. We did visit whilst there were no major functions happening but I cannot see anything detracting the the pleasure of staying. I will certainly stay again.
