we have visited the white hart many times in recent years, we go to castle combe on holiday every year and always eat in the white hart, the food is outstanding and very reasonably priced, i have 4 children who are always made to feel more than welcome the staff and owners of the white hart are kind friendly people who always welcome us well. The friendly atmosphere, delicious food and outstanding service is definitely a reason to visit,

Went today. Lovely pub, fantastic food, great welcome. They even fussed my dog! I will be making it a regular haunt!

The customer service we received, as a small group, was abysmal. They huffed at orders for soft drinks, they stropped when they had to bring one drink to the table, they reprimanded a 7 year old girl so sharply they made her cry and they swore at three pensioners as they were leaving. We really didn't want to stay any longer to review anything else.
