Visited this restaurant with my wife on what was not a particularly busy Saturday night about 8 o'clock.Service was slow and food overpriced (13 quid for a tiny breast of chicken with some sort of sauce made from black pudding). No sides included, these were three quid extra each.Wife's sides consisted of eight chips and three onion rings.Vastly overrated. Would not recommend

Our visit to the Oxford Exchange Grill Bar was extremely disappointing to say the least and in fact embarrassing, for the reasons as follows: We were booked in for 8.30pm and arrived promptly at 8.20pm. We were given our menus and ordered 1 x starter and 4 x main courses. The starter arrived approximately 30 minutes after we had ordered, but our guest hoped it was worth the wait and said nothing. After ordering we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes and then enquired if our main course was ready to be served. We were told that our table would be served next. Our main course was then served at 9.55pm (1 hour and 25 minutes after ordering). The food which arrived was cold and to be brutally honest was extremely disappointing. We had also ordered horseshoe (not shoestring!) onions, which arrived after we had almost finished our main course. We did express our annoyance at this stage. At no point did anyone come over to apologise and explain why the food was taking so long, or even ask us was everything okay whilst we were eating our meal. Our two guests then ordered a dessert of Creme Brulee which was supposed to be served with Homemade Shortbread, but there was no Shortbread. The music was then turned off and we had to endure the strong smell of disinfectant as the kitchen staff began cleaning up, which was quite unpleasant whilst eating our dessert and drinking coffee. I expressed my disappointment and disgust whilst paying for the bill, which we did in full! This was so upsetting as these were two very good friends, who we had brought to Belfast for the weekend to stay in the Hilton and had hoped to show them some great Northern Irish hospitality. Unfortunately this was not the case at the Oxford Exchange Grill Bar!!
