Hi Good place to visit, free car park, free entrance and free to go down the 400ft mine shaft. Nice cafe and shop, pit ponies and a small playground. Nigel from Morley

I came today to visit the museum with a group of nine learners, with learning disabilities. The visit was both enjoyable and very educational for all of us. Stuart was our guide and he was brilliant the whole group found him to be very interesting and humourous. We all learned alot from the visit. So its a big thankyou to all your friendly and helpful staff.
