Pre-theatre two course meal at £11.95 each sounded a good deal, for the last night of our holiday in Stratford. Unfortunately value for money was not on the menu. With the previously unmentioned 10% service charge on top and extortionate drinks prices we were left £35 worse off and still hungry. The portions were microscopic. If only less had been more. The starter: two 50 pence piece sized bits of chicken breast with seasoning that was so dry it was unpalatable. The main course: a greasy bit of rubbery bread and a small bowl of lamb stew, with less flavour (and lamb) than dishwater. The waiter even brought my husband the wrong meal but by this stage we were too disappointed to make a fuss. Paid the bill and left. Not recommended.
