“the dining room” is a small 6 table award winning restaurant in the heart of ashbourne, and is run hands on by owners Pete and Laura. The restaurant prides itself on sourcing 85% of their produce from within a 30 mile radius of the restaurant to produce menus which reflect the season. Laura and Pete cook with flair, imagination and innovation using up to date techniques to create a twist on modern British cuisine. An imaginative 15 course tasting menu is the best showcase for their cooking style, and a concise a la carte is the other menu option. There is an extensive wine and spirit list to complement the cuisine and for a small restaurant there is huge amount of choice. Opening times No bookings or enquiries by e-mail. Tuesday-Saturday, bookings required, 7.15 arrival.
