Went to see Ricky Gervais who was very funny and had a good warm up guest.
My review really is about the venue and staff - we were told where the bar was by a gentlman taking our tickets - we bought ourselves a couple of beers and asked the barman for a plastic cup so we could take them in with us - sat down and waiting for the show to start.Ten minutes later we were asked to leave our seats as no alcohol was permitted. When we said the barman gave us the plastic cups so we could bring them in we were told that alcohol is never permitted at your seats. She walked off then came back 2 mins later to say 'no i was right no alchol permitted' The point we were trying to make was that we were told we could take them in by the bar staff - we were sat in the circle and there are no signs stating this and to top it all off everyone else sat round us were drinking alcohol!!!
